About us
GAF AG is an e-GEOS (Telespazio/ASI) company located in Munich and Neustrelitz, Germany. It is one of the leading geoinformation service providers in Europe in the area of earth observation with broad expertise in international consulting and development co-operation. GAF consulting solutions include implementation, infrastructure, maintenance and training, as well as advanced analytics techniques, AI processes and customized development of geospatial information, software systems, technical solutions, and platforms. They support government, administrative and industrial processes.
GAF's origins and heritage lie in EO-based geological applications and the implementation of governance reform projects in the mining sector, particularly on the African continent. Nowadays the thematic areas of specialisation for public and private clients worldwide are mining and geology, land monitoring, natural resource management, water and environmental monitoring, agriculture and forestry, emergency management and infrastructure security.
GAF recently carried out mining governance and consulting projects, e.g. in Burkina Faso, Chad, Ghana, Sudan, Niger, Nigeria and Suriname.
